The type of personal information we collect from our users.

All the user information we collect and store on our servers is an essential part of the service we provide to our users - we will not ask our users for any data which does not improve the experience of using our site. This includes:

• Login credentials (email address)
• Any documents our users chose to upload
• Communications summaries
• Business contacts
• Login statistics.

Login Credentials

Your login credentials consist of a users email address and password. The users password is only ever processed once during account creation and that is when we convert it to a passcode via an encryption algorithm the moment the user enters it. We then process the passcode whenever the user logs in. Both email address and passcode are then held in an encrypted file on our servers.

Uploaded Documents

The user is free to upload any job search related documents. As such, these documents could contain personal information but they are not accessed by our service except for uploading, downloading and storing. Documents are not encrypted but are stored in secure locations without direct download links available on the open internet. In order to download these documents, the user must be logged in to their account.

Communications Summaries

Our Service provides a mechanism for recording summaries of communications with our users business contacts. These summaries can contain any relevant data of our users choosing. These summaries are stored in an encrypted file on our servers.

Business Contacts

A user can enter the professional details of their business contacts, including name, email address, phone number, LinkedIn profile URL and web profile URL. This data should be readily available on the open internet via an internet search. The business contact information each user enters is stored on our servers in an encrypted file.

Visitor Statistics

We collect information about visits to our site in order to improve our service, but we do not store IP addresses or any other information about specific visitors.

Financial Details

Users who purchase our Premium service will be asked to provide financial details via our Processing Provider, Stripe. We do not access or store any of these details, but we understand that these details will be held on Stripe servers. Stripe’s privacy policy can be found here Stripe Privacy Policy

How we get the personal information and why we have it.

• Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by our users for the purpose of using our Service.
• However, visits, login and Premium purchase statistics are recorded by us in order to improve our Service.
• We use the information that our users have given us in order to provide our service to them.
• We do not share users personal details with any other organisation or individuals.

UK GDPR Regulation.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

• Users consent. As a user, you are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting andy@managemyjobsearch.com or simply by deleting your account. If you remove your consent, we will delete your account and all of your personal data. In the event of you chosing to delete your account, all of your personal data will be removed from our servers immediately.

How we store personal information.

• All information is securely stored in encrypted files.
• We keep all of the data our users provide us whilst using our service indefinitely as this is a key benefit of our service. However, each user is free at any time to delete their account which will remove all of their data from our servers.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

• Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
• Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
• Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you. Please contact us at andy@managemyjobsearch.com if you wish to make a request.
